I have pictures of both these people. William Lydel died in/near Paris, Tx but I could not locate. My great grandmother (Mattie) is buried in the Rock Creek Cemetery in Bowie Co.

Yes my grandfathers name was Leonard K. Rumbo and he was married to Flora L. Fowler. I don't know who her first husband was.

lookin for info to prove that james henry rumbo is his son. I need a copy of a census record or something. they lived in Lampasses co texas in lometa Thomas Jefferson was born 4-5-1845 and James Henry was born 11-21-1873 Thanks for any help!!

Researching my Wife's family (Bennett) and it looks like we have a connection. Willing to share as much as I have. Also looking for Rentha or Arentha Rumbo who married Ira Bennett. I can not find them anywhere, But show up in the family history written by my wife's ggrandmother. Any help?

I'm trying to find out more about my Grandfather "Leonard K.Rumbo" all that is known is that he he was born 1902-04. Nothing about his parents. But he had a half bother named Tom Hunter and a sister named Gertie. If you can help, I would be so pleased. Thank Robbie F. Rumbo (Granddaughter)

Grandfather: Leonard K.Rumbo

I'm trying to find anything on Leonard K.Rumbo. I have his ss#, and that he was born 1900-1905. He had a half brother Tom Hunter(WacoTexas) and a sister Gerti Collier(possible married name).(Ft Worth Texas). He had a son born before 1929. He was married 1929 to Flora Ludean Fowler.(my grandmother) they had 9 children. And Flora had a daughter from another marriage, so the total of children was 10. The name Edge fits in somehow

Hi again, I wanted to tell you that the lady at OraFlan@aol.com is the historian that e-mailed me the information on John, Enos, Elias Pleasant, and other descendants of Rambo then Rumbo. If you don't have that information, she can probably just send a file by computer where I would have to mail by post office. I will talk to you later. June

Hi Mecca, I only have pictures of Helen, husband and some of the children. I had them on the computer and have searched for 10 minutes and can't find them. I do have copies. Mrs. Hart at ritzie@eastland.esc14.net sent them to me and I'm sure she would send them to you. I also have a copy of Helen and Buck's brother Thomas Jefferson Rumbo. I will try to scan soon and get it to you. I also had that in computer and is now gone. I wonder if children deleted without realizing. Happy to hear from you. June

Hi Phena, The 1880 census of Ellis County has Thomas Jefferson and Josephine. James H. is listed as their son. I am descended from Frank, Uncle Jim's brother. They both moved close to Edom, Texas. I have Jim's family through Pearl Davis, a daughter. I have a picture of Jim and several brothers and sisters and two pictures of Thomas Jefferson. Hope to hear from a cousin. June

Leslie, All the Rumbo's I know about descended from Elias Pleasant Rambo. He changed his name to Rumbo. I am descended through son Thomas Jefferson. Elias's father was Enos, and Enos's father was John Rambo. Look up Rambo on genforum.com and use names Enos or Elias Pleasant Rambo and you can see all the children's names and places of residence. If you need more help, I have three volumes on Rambos and some family trees but not many. Nothing is on my computer or I would just forward it to you. I would have to copy and mail.
