I had corresponded with you and your dad a while back. Since then I have gone to the cemeteries in Tryon, Ok. and Carney, Ok. I have posted photos of the headstones that I found there. Maybe some of my new infomation will be helpful to you.

William Albert Ruminer and Martha Anne Williams are my great-grandparents. Frances Emaline Ruminer is my grandmother. My g-grandparents are in the Benton County, Arkansas census in 1880. I also have their marriage license. Franny

my grand fathers name was william t ruminer. he was married to a cherokee indian from oklahoma. do you know anything about the children of you great grandfather.

My understanding is that John Ruminer was his adoptive father. His mother was Indian and his father was unknown as far as we know. William A. Ruminer is my great-great grandfather. My great-grandmother says that he carried his mother's real name to his grave, and we have been unable to find out much more than that.

I am helping a friend to find some information on her family, we have very little information.
I do have the names: Dixie Ruminer, Viola Ruminer, Mary Ruminer.
There could be a George Ruminer and or a Jessie Ruminer , Pete Ruminer.

William Albert Ruminer was my great grandfather. His daughter, Ella Jane Ruminer, by wife Martha Ann Williams was my grandmother. I can't trace him farther back than his father, John Ruminer. Do you have more info than this?

hello i just read your ad, and noticed that i have a William Albert Ruminer from born 1868 Van Buren Crawford Arkansas. He married Martha Williams. Could he be a relation. I keeep hitting dead ends. I do think they called him whistling bill and was said that he could read signs??possibly indian

My great grand-dad, Lewis Ruminer, settled in a small town called, Ceylinda, Missouri. His father was John. They are buried at New Home Church. My dad is Rouge Alan Ruminer (Don). Anyone have any info?

Christian Ruminer came to Posey Co.,IN, in mid to late 1820's from Logan Co., KY, with 2nd wife, Jane /CAMPBELL/ Pharr Ruminer and Pharr kids. He is the father of Michael Ruminer, who is well documented. I need a documented Christian birth date and death date and burial place in Posey Co. or close by.
