      <description>My understanding is that John Ruminer was his adoptive father.  His mother was Indian and his father was unknown as far as we know.  William A. Ruminer is my great-great grandfather.  My great-grandmother says that he carried his mother's real name to his grave, and we have been unable to find out much more than that.</description>

      <description>hello i just read your ad, and noticed that i have a William Albert Ruminer from born 1868 Van Buren Crawford Arkansas. He married Martha Williams. Could he be a relation. I keeep hitting dead ends. I do think they called him whistling bill and was said that he could read signs??possibly indian &lt;br&gt;</description>
