My ggrandmother is Helen or Nellie Ryan Gibbons. All I ever heard her refered to was Nellie, but the 1920 census lists her name as Helen. She was married to John Gibbons and had two children; Gertrude, born around 1903 and Isabelle Mary (my paternal grandmother) who was born Aug. 8, 1912. The 1920 census lists her as a widow, but I don't know when her husband died. My grandmother was born in Brockton, but I do not know where Helen was born. I don't know Helen's date of birth other than the year would have been around 1875. The census lists both of Helen's parents as being from Ireland.
