Hello to all of you! I had no idea there were others searching for RYER's! What a thrill! My RYER connection is to a Jocob RYER (REYER,REUYER). They lived in PA around
Germantown or York. My Grandfather, Joseph
John RYER left PA and never looked back. He and his large family moved to Dallas, Texas,
where my Mother (Gertie Mae ALLUMBAUGH) and Father (Emil Edward RYER) were born, met and married. They moved to So California where my Brother Stephen E RYER and I still reside. We have many cousins in Texas and have just made contact with some cousins in PA. Would like to know if there is a family connection and where your RYER's originated.
