I own what was once Benjamin F. Ryer's copy of the New-York Mirror, Volume 8, for 1830: it has a large decorative label on the front cover that says "BENJAMIN F. RYER" but nothing inside in the say or writing or signatures or anything just half of a 19th Century stamp that was used as a bookmarker and 2 other pieces from some 19th Century newpaper also used as book markers. Perhaps this is the same person or his father?
