Thanks for the reply. It sounds like this could be a relation to my Grandmother's great uncle Ben Saalfeld. He was the brother of my GreatgreatGrandfather Clement Saalfeld of Covington Kentucky (Near Cincinnati). We have a photo of this uncle Ben at a very old age. We always knew that some of the relatives moved further out west. Some to Oregon and some to Nazareth TX. Have you ever seen any photos? The cigar making trade sounds similar too!
