My husband's grandfather was Michael Curry Saba, sometimes known as Michael Curry, sometimes as Michael Saba. He came from Syria in about 1892, married Mary Anthony George (also from Syria), in Wilkes-Barre, PA, in 1899. They had 19 children, 2 of whom are still living. Michael was the priest of St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church in Johnstown, PA. His obituary states his father was a priest in Syria (also named Michael) an he had 1 sister, Mrs. Elias Auday (of PA) and 2 brothers, Alexander of PA and Sahada of Syria.
