I have a Stephen Wesley Sage who married Amanda Blackman in 1867 and Amanda Ashley in 1879.
Does anyone know if this is the son of Jonathon Sage and Rosamond Hale or the son of James Sage Jr. and Catherine Cannoy? The census entries seem to split the difference between the two men's ages.
The 1870 Census entry is also a bit confusing:
