Thank you for responding, but I only have some connection to the Saia's in Cassio, and that is by marriage. I was just trying to help Doreen with her search.
The Jewish heritage of Saia is interesting. My husband's mother's family are Montesinos, which family history says were Spanish jews who converted to Catholism during the Inquisistion. Montesinos = Mount Sinai.
