I have a copy of a letter written on stationary that reads
Sain & Dellinger
Successor to JC Dellinger
General Merchandise
Buyers & shippers of Country Produce
Shipping Point Cherryville, NC
Cherryville, NC RFD No. 1 8 Dec 1905
from Hettie Lnu (possible Sarah H. Dellinger who married John F. Sain?) to Cephus Crooks Dellinger with Hettie telling Cephus that he can come back home to NC and find a new wife. Cephus's 1st wife, Fannie Hallman died in 1901 leaving Cephus a widower with nearly grown children living at home.
