Hello. I do not know if both you and I are talking about the same Sajo. My grandfather was born in Hungary in 1883. His name was Thomas Szago. He married Barbara Kecskes who was born in 1888. Thomas came over to the US in 1913 and Barbara came over in 1914. Thomas, I know, had a brother names Sandor. Sandor's wife was Snadona. Their children, that I know of only, are Ferezia, Sandor, and Anna. My grandfather and grandmother, changed the way they spelled their last name when they came to the US. They spelled it Sajgo. Their children all spelled their last name differently. My mother spelled it Helen Sago, my Aunt Margaret spelled it Sajo, my Uncle William spelled it Shargo, my Uncle Ernest spelled it Sajgo and my other Uncle Thomas spelled it Shago. Are any of these names familiar with you? If so, I would really love to hear from you. I would love to know more information about my grandfather's family. Please e-mail me. Thanks.
