MARCELLA M. SALAZAR-DODD , 42, of Las Vegas, Nev., and former resident of Las Vegas, N.M., died April 26, 2003 at the Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev., following a sudden illness. She was born Aug. 3, 1960, in Las Vegas, N.M., to Georgia Salazar. She was united in marriage in 1992 in Las Vegas, Nev., to John Dodd. She was presently employed by Vista Chevrolet in Las Vegas, Nev., in customer relations. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bobbie Archuleta in January 2002; uncle, Joe Salazar in May 2001; great-niece, Joanna Torres in 2001; cousin, John Salazar in November 2000; god-father, Daniel Salazar Sr.; grandmother, Delfina Salazar; grandfather, Medijildo Salazar. She is survived by her husband, John Dodd of Las Vegas, Nev.; mother, Georgia Salazar of Las Vegas, N.M.; sons, J.T. Dodd, Matthew Vigil and Trish, and Sam Vigil Jr. and wife Kim; step-children, Leila Dodd and Crystal, Victoria and Tyler Dodd; grandson, Sammy D. Vigil III; sister and brothers, Patricia Gallegos and husband Charlie, Ralph Salazar and fiancee Yolanda Jones, and Delfino Salazar all of Las Vegas, N.M.; and many other relatives and many friends. Services will be at 9 a.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment will follow at Los Vigiles Cemetery. Rogers Mortuary.
