Hello, this is a follow-up to my earlier post re: Lucy Ann Sales' father, whom I found just today listed on Lucy's death certificate. Lucy married Henry Brown, and after he died at Chatham, Ont. (1903), she moved to Lorain, Ohio to live with her daughter Emily Brown Cameron. This is Lucy's info. from the death certificate:
LUCY BROWN, d. 12 Aug 1912 Lorain Co., Lorain, Ohio. Birth date: 2 Jun 1828 Canada; age 84 yrs. 2 months 19 days. Widowed. Burial 21 Aug 1912, Dresden, Ontario.
Father: HAMLET SALES; Mother: Unknown.

Hamlet Sales was born 1808 New York, probably from the Mohawk Valley, where Lucy was born.
Does anyone know anything about these Sales?
