I have also seen the name spelled Saline.
Wish I could tell you more. all we know is that her father was a fisherman, and died in the North Sea.
She came here as a teenaged servant to a rich family.
Theresa

Anyone know of this family? She has a half brothers Angel who live in Soldier, Iowa and John who lived in Portland, her other brother was Gerhardt who lived in South Dakota.
Alfred Saline and his wife Mary

I am searching for information about Alfred Saline and his wife Mary. They were married in 1918.
I have no further info on Alfred, but his wife Mary's maiden name was Petersen. Her family emigrated from Denmark at the beginning of 1900's (possible 1911). The family were:
Hans Petersen, her father, b. 1866
Ane C., her mother, b. 1871, d. 1912
Peter Petersen, her brother, b. 1895
Mary Petersen, b. 1896 and married Alfred Saline in 1918
Ketty (Katrine) Petersen, b. 1898
Christen Petersen, b. 1900.

Peter joined the US Navy during the WW1 and later became, I believe, a goldsmith.

Any help or information will be appriciated.
