Daisy D. HEATH (b.20 Dec 1880) Butler Twp, Harrison Co. MO. m.29 Dec 1897 at age 17, James W. SALMON b.ca. 1876 MO. James W. Salmon was a son of William (b.1836 OH) Salmon and his wife Emmaline Dillon of Butler Twp. (James W. Salmon, Daisy’s husband, was a grandson of the same Eli Salmon and Lydia Van Meter who were the parents of Emily Salmon who married William Redmond Heath.) Daisy Heath and James Salmon were married with her father Elisha B. Heath’s consent at his home in Butler Twp. For the first years of their marriage they stayed in Harrison Co. MO living by other Salmon family members farming. However, by 1910 (just like Sarah Alice Heath, her sister who also married a Salmon family member), they had moved to Kansas. In 1910 they are farming in Corinth Twp, Osborne Co. KS. Daisy states she’s had 5 children, only 4 living. By 1920 they had moved on to Grant Twp, Republic Co. KS., still farming.
