Surnames: Salsbury (Salsberry, Sallsburry, Saulsbury, etc....)

My branch of the Salsbury family was from Portsmouth, Scioto, OH. I think there must be some relation between the two families. The farthest back I can go is to James Salsbury (1797 - 1868). His father was also James and I think that he had either an uncle or older brother named William. I don't know if we have ever been in contact, but I do remember someone from your branch of the family contacting me regarding Andrew. Do you have any John Salsbury's in your tree? Also, what different spelling variations for the last name have you found?
