I too have tried to find info on the Salsbury's in Ohio, more explicitly in the Scioto County area of Ohio. My gggrandfather was Andrew Jackson Salsbury who married Sarah Catherine Moran/Morgan. (I have seen her maiden name two ways on census'.) Their daughter (my ggrandmother) Ruth Anna Salsbury married John Garvin and they lived in Otway Ohio. Their daughter Iva L Garvin married Thomas Albert McClure (my grandparents). Does any of this information link to yours?
