James C. Salsgiver, 59
James C. Salsgiver, 59, of Delancey, died Tuesday, March 10, 1981.
Born Feb. 24, 1922 in Punxsutawney, he was a son of Claude and Blanche (Hinderliter) Salsgiver.
He was married to the former Helen Bofinger, who survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one son and four sisters: James C. Salsgiver of Delancey; Mrs. Frank (Beulah) Spinelli of Punxsutawney; Mrs. Rudy (Dolly) Verbka of DuBois; Mrs. Fred (Betty) Chambers of Smicksburg RD 1 (Trade City) and Mrs. James (Helen Louise) Stellabuto of Big Run.
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Pifer Funeral Home, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. A. Josepeh Book officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Cloe
