Claude Salsgiver Services Monday
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon in this city for Claude Slasgiver, 64, of Adrian, who died Friday night.
Born Sept. 6, 1896, in Punxsutawney, a son of James and Elizabeth Whitesell Salsgiver, he was married to Blanche Hinderliter. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Salsgiver lived in this district his entire lifetime.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters and a son, Mrs. Frank Spinelli, of Punxsutawnye (sic); Jas. Slasgiver and Mrs. Rudy Verbyak, of Adrian; Mrs. James Stellabuto, of Big Run and Mrs. Fred Chambers, of Trade City. He leaves also 13 grandchildren, a brother, Edward, of Sproul, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. May Burkhoultz, of Punxsutawney.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Pifer Funeral home here. Rev. R. F. Williams of Anita will officiate and interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery near Cloe.
