My grandfather created a fairly comprehensive family tree for us at one point, but saved it to a Mac that is, relatively speaking, older than dirt. I am taking up the torch because it looks like those files may never be recovered.

I will post with more details soon, but if those names ring anyone's bells, please contact me. Fanny May married a Wilkins and had several children though only 2 survived into adulthood. She was institutionalized in the mid to late 1930's for dementia and later passed away. Her father was A.G.B. Salter, which I can only assume stands for, in part Archibald.

My efforts in this arena are tangentially connected to Kevin Duffus and his work in North Carolina with the remains of Edward Salter.
