A couple of years ago I sent out for the family coat of arms and such. What I got back was very vague to say the least. All that I understand about our name is that we either originated from France or England.

my immediate family lives in Ohio, but my father was from Kentucky and grew up in Prestinsberg (spelling?)

My father is Oscar Lee Salyers.

my grandfather is Thomas Jay Salyers who Married Margaret Jane Osborne.

My great grandparents were George Salyers and Louise Dillon.
