Gloria H. Salzer, age 80, of Erie passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Twinbrook Medical Center.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 28, 1927, a daughter of the late George and Claire Butters Hunt. Over the years, Gloria worked at General Electric, the Boston Store, Holiday Shop, Super Duper, Festival Foods and Tops Market. She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Salzer on August 11, 2007,
a son Michael Salzer
and a brother George Hunt.
Gloria is survived by a daughter, Carol Strasser, husband Jeffrey of Erie;
three sons, Donald Salzer,
David Salzer
and Frederick Salzer, all of Erie;
two grandchildren, Michael Salzer
and Angelena Velez and a brother, Lance Hunt. Friends are invited to call at the Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 until the time of a service at 8:30 p.m. with Rev. Richard Moyer of Community United Church of Christ.
