Hi-

My name is Mia Frustaci Grabner and I am researching my family back to S. Andrea, Italy. My father is Emilio Frustaci and has brother’s: Nick, Frank & Bruno. Their mother’s name was Maria Vittoria Sama Frustaci. Their father’s name was Guiseppe Frustaci. Guiseppe came over to the US in the late 1920’s with Vittoria’s brother Andrea (sp) and then sent for my grandmother who came over with her son’s on Dec. 24, 1935. Are you a possible relation?

I believe you're looking for the Sama family from Sant'Andrea Ionio, Calabria. My great grandmother was Elvira Sama, daughter of Bruno Sama and Maria Dominijianni. Elvira's siblings included Elena, Rosalia, Lorenzo, Giuseppina, Bruna and Ida. Any connections?

I have found that in June of 1971 my mother and a gentleman with the last name Sama had a relationship and the result was me. I am trying to find the relatives of this young man. Could anyone help me with this? I do not think this young man's family (mother and father) knew that I existed. I would appreciate the help.

My Granparents came from Calabria
in the early 1900s. Raphael Sama
was my grandfather. He was born around 1893
give or take a year. Settled in Central
Massachusetts and died there.

My father came to america in the early 1900's
when he was about 14 or 16 years old. So this
would have had to be in the 1910's.. he had
me late in life.. I am in my early 50's.
This could possibly be a nephew .. or cousin.?
My father came from San Andrea- Junio,
I may be a little off on the spelling, my
sister has the exact information. I would
appreciate your letting me know if there is
any possible connection. He had two sisters
who were nuns..and a brother..and more.

My grandfather Dominick came from Italy to Philadelphia, I'm guessing in the early 1900's. He married Vittoria. My mom would have more info for you if you are interested.
