I am looking for anyone you may be researching the family of John SAMPLE b. abt 1790, married to Sarah (Davis?) in 1817. John SAMPLE was in KY from at least 1817 - 1834. He lived for a short time in New Madrid, MO ( 1835 -1837) before finally settling in Shelby Co. Texas with one son, James Bedford SAMPLE in 1838. James is my gg grandfather. He was married to Martha Ann Branch. I would love to share information on this family.
