On the 1860 census for Mason Co., Ill I found a George Parker, age 33 b. NY, & his wife Thirza, age 27 b. ILLs listed with the children of William & Susannah (Susan) Sampson from Springfield, Ills. The children were all listed with the surname of Parker but I'm sure they are Sampsons. Their information matches exactly with my Sampson family. Susannah Sampson's maiden name was Pate. I'm trying to determine who George & Thirza Parker are and how they're connected to the Sampson family. Two of the Sampson children are also named George & Thirza. Thirza Parker's age does not match that of any of Susannah's siblings and I have no information on William Sampson's family. Any information would be appreciated.
