I have been told that a member of my Mum's family emmigrated to New Zealand sometime in the early 20th C.
The family returned for a visit in the 1950's but my Mum, being a typical teenager didn't want to go and visit them at the "get together"
Benjamin and Maria Sampson had the following children in the 1901 census:
George Henry,
John Charles,
Percy Walter,
William B,
Lily V R ,
Elizabeth (Bessie),
and Albert who was my Great Grandfather
All lived in Bethnal Green London although some were born in Walthamstow, London.
