Do you have the name of William Benjamin Sander's wife? Have been looking for a William Sanders, (family rumor said he was full-blood "Indian") for a long time. He was supposedly married to Elizabeth ??. I can get no farther back than Spartanburg, SC. His daughter, my materal gmother, married Thomas Alfred Michaels (Mikels) there in 1900. She, my gmother, was born 1879. One of her given names was Eugenia. Coincidence, or was she related to your Eugenia? Her 1949 obit listed two surviving brothers, William (Jr) and Marvin of SC and one sister, Mrs. R.L. Mason of Chesnee. If your William B. was married to an Elizabeth, there could definitely be a connection. Keeping my fingers crossed.
