I am from the line of Elias Sanders of the Cherokee Nation. My ancester is from Samuel B., too, James' brother, John Willis. My grandfather was Samuel Leland Sanders I have information only that James was the 2nd son of Samuel B. Sanders and Annie Skelton and was killed during the civil war. Samuel B. and Annie were buried in the Reed Creek baptist Church cemetary. Maybe he is buried there, too.I have that he was not married. He could be looked up under the military unit of which he served to find out where he fought and died during the civil war. I have a lot of information on the families of Sanders, Vickery, Edwards, and some Reynolds, families. Good luck! A cousin!!
