HOUSTON – Services celebrating the life of Leroy Sanders will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov 27, 2012 at the VA Cemetery Chapel on Veterans Memorial in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Sanders departed this life on Nov. 14, 2012, in Houston, surrounded by his loving family and dear friends.

Mr. Sanders was born May 30, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Oscar and Mollie B. Sanders.
He graduated from South High School in Youngstown in 1969. He worked as a volunteer at the VA hospital.
He was a member of the Crossover Bible Fellowship Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, Oscar of Houston, and Raymond (Lorette); three sisters, Id Carter (John), Merdice Sanders and Eunice Barnes, all of Youngstown; his partner, Faye Davis of Houston; his loving nephews, George, Gordon, and Erick Sanders and James Tarver (Tammy); loving niece, Jonie Brooks (Keith), all of Houston; and a host of other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; a brother, Freddie; and sister-in-law, Doris.
