LANCASTER: Paul Scott Sanders, 88, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Monday December 31, 2012 at the Lanfair Center, Lancaster.

He was born on September 21, 1924 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Hollis Wayne and Gladys Mary (Dupler) Sanders.

Scott served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He owned the Sanders Furniture Store in Lancaster.
Scott an avid Buckeye Fan, loved music, played and collected violins and sang with the Mills Memorial Men's Quartet and was a member of the Mills Memorial Church and Olivedale Senior Center.

Scott is survived by his wife of 57 years Norma J. (Childers) Sanders; daughters, Rise (Greg) Pfouts, and Kim (Carly) Sparrow; grandchildren Katie, Davis and Kellie Pfouts; great granddaughter Audrey Pfouts; brothers, Lloyd (Wilma) Sanders, Neil (Adelaide) Sanders; sisters Ruth Wilson, Mary Ann Theller, and Martha (Robert) Snoke; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30AM Saturday January 5, 2013 at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Harold Sturm officiating.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday January 4 from 6-8PM.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lanfair for the excellent care given to Scott this 7 and ½ years. Memorial contributions may be given to Lanfair.
