Alfons Sandrock was married to Emma Kissau in Germany .
They had three sons; Ulrich Heinrich Fredrich (my father)
he was born:04 Jul 1935 in Zerbst Anhalt in Saxony.
They had two more sons named Diter and Alfons.

This is a shot in the dark. My Great Great Grandmother was Bertha Sandrock She was born abt. 1828 in Gremany and died between 1870 and 1880 in Milwaukee, WI. I doubt this is who your looking for but I thought I'd give it try.......Tim

I have a census for Phillip Sandrock my GGG grandfather and it says he was from BRESLIN Germany. I am not sure if this is correct or a translation. Does anyone know if there is such place??????

I am currently researching my line of Sandrocks. G,G,G Grandfather was William Sandrock born in NY about 1850. They moved to Boonville, Mo and then on to California. Any relation? I tried to contact Robby Sandrock of South Afirca but I havent gotten a responce. My Uncle traveled there and meet a Sandrock family and I was wondering if he is the same family. I am descended from an Eliza Jane Sandrock (1828-1888) who married John Grimshaw on Aug 17 1854 at Greenwich, according to our records. Probably not the same person but the dates are very similar. She was the daughter of John Henry Sandrock and Charlotte Spanton. and christened at Lambeth, Surrey on 5 Oct 1828.

I have not come across the name Hillman at all.

My research to date indicates that my branch came to the USA in the 19th century. Martin was my great grandfather. He was a carpenter by trade. I will have to go back to some basic research I did over 30 years ago to see what else I can find. I do know the Sandrocks came from Germany.
