JAMES SARGOOD
James SARGOOD was born at Frome, Somersetshire, England, July 3, 1850, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry SARGOOD. He was united in marriage to Miss Mae H. Bennett at Arapahoe, Nebr., Sept. 7, 1887. To this union was born one son, James B. Sargood, of Fruitland. Mrs. Sargood died in 1927.
Mr. Sargood lived in Idaho for 38 years. Surviving are his son, James, a grandson, Roy, one sister, Mrs. Mary Pink of Brookland, N. Y., and one brother, W. W. Sargood, of Lee, Massachusetts. Mr. Sargood passed away January 13, 1938, and funeral services were held from the Landon Funeral home January 15, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Harry Thomas of the Fruitland Brethren church officiating. Interment was in the Riverside cemetery at Payette.
