I am searching for a Katherine Sarris from Kimi, Greece. She was born in 1874 and traveled to the US to California. She married an Anthony Sperow. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

My dad is from Tsitalia Greece. Most of the village is made up of Sarris'. Tsitalia is a tiny village located on the Peloponese near the coastal city of Leonidion. Check out the tsitalia website at www.Tsitalia.com. I know that the Sarris name is very common throughout the mainland of Greece and the islands.

My relatives came from Valtesinico thru Ellis Island in early 1900's. Settled in Johnstown , Gloversville NY, and Lowell Mass. I'm trying to find our familys connection to the Sarris's in Lowell Mass.

I am from Perth Australia and my parents are both from Greece. My Father is the Sarris and he was born in Xanthi.

They have been here for 26 years and have been back a few times. The rest of the immediate family still reside in Greece. Apart from Grand parents which have all passed on.

Where are you originally from ??

hello, marina. Aegina is a small island about 1 hour away from Athens. It is a very beautiful island. We also have some Sarris relatives that live in Cairo, Egypt. I think the place your grandfather is from is called "Nisiros". it's an island also..
