I live in the north east of england and only a small number of people are called sash say about one in half a million here in the uk including my immediate family.


We all come originally from Poland sashakowsky and shortened to sash in Germany and France and from there to various places around the world.

its great being a sash as everyone remembers your name and you come up on search engines rather than being lost in the mix of all the other surnames...
