I am trying to find my Great-Grandfather Ed Sauls, I believe his wife's name is Evelyn or Erslyn??
They lived in Stantonsburg, NC.
Ed Sauls is from a wealthy black family that migrated from Canada. One brother settled in Boston, the other in Va ?? and the last in NC.
I am thinking the name could have changed somewhere from the north to the south. I guess.
