Hi
I am afraid this is not a reply to your question, just a way of contacting you without having membership. So, sorry for getting your hopes up about Richard Sault! I see that you have a Willie Gillam (b.1894 - Lewisham, d. 1964 - Southampton) in your family tree. I believe this is my great-grandfather who went on to marry Violet Styles and have three children.

If this is correct please contact me on: mon1981@hotmail.co.uk

Best wishes
Mark

Hi Nicholas

Sorry I can't help with Reginald, but I thought I'd let you know there's another British Nicholas Sault around, and been around for 60 years.

I have often wondered where my people came from, but unfortunately, my ancestry always seemed a bit murky, and up to now I was reluctant to delve into it.

My mother was unmarried, but came from Lambeth area of London. I am racking the brain to remember my grandfather's first name - he was a docker, and was murdered on the docks, long before I was born.

Hopefully, I have resurrected the Sault good name, having a faultless record, a 36 year marriage to a wonderful woman, and an equally wonderful daughter, Ashley Sault, who is at this moment practicing law in London.

We ducked out of England 30 years ago, living first in Saudi Arabia and now in New Zealand.

Just thought you would like to know, or perhaps you could throw some light on my ancestry.

Regards

Nick

WOW ! Been a long time since I was here last. I live in Rochester, NY. I'm of Ojibwe Desecent (I'm assuming your looking for the Frenched "forced, take a last name to be civilized" last name of Sault on our tribe, rather than natural decendants) I'm one of them.
My father is of the same name only a Sr. He is on New Credit Reservation in Canada. I don't get to call or visit him as often as I like because of my job with the phone company here, but if you do manage to contact him tell him I said Hi. I also have uncles up there.
And dude! Kenny! If you still check this GET A JOB!

Mabel Wood was my dad's mother and she had a brother George, who was your father's dad. Royal was my dad's 1st cousin. This book traces the family back on Mabel and George Wood side. I've been trying to check the lineage of the Sault name and I haven't found as much. Would love to hear from you.

Hi, Rachael:
My maiden name was `Sault' and my great great grandparents were James Salt and Ann Evans Salt, who came from Staffordshire, England, to the Puslinch, Ontario region of Canada in 1839. They had a family of eight children, as follows: Sampson (my great grandfather), Mary, Joseph, John, Sarah Jane, Samuel, James Jr., Hannah Ann.
I am presently looking for anyone that has descended from any of these early ancestors, and would appreciate hearing from you.
Pat (Sault) Jacobson.
