I am trying to trace Doncien Roger R Sauriol ,I know he was born in Canada but I don't know which area.He married Ellen Mandeville in 1945 in England.Can anyone help me with a date of birth or parents or anything?

amazing to hear from you on this site. i am fine, living in australia since 1982 now. working as an acupuncturist and just started my own clinic. my 2 daughters are 30 and 24, all grown up and working. not married and no grandchildren yet.
how are you and where are you?
how did you find this site where you searching on sauriol, which is my family's original name?

You may be in luck. My wife is Darlene Sourile, originally from Chicago. She has mentioned Napolean and that he came from Canada. I will pass your note on to her and she can get in touch with you directly.

Thank you so much for responding. Georges Bruyere is the brother of my great-grandfather Michel Bruyere. I would love a copy of any pictures you have. Clarinthe Sauriol who married Bruyère, is the sister of my grand-father. Her parents were Emmanuel Sauriol and Marguerite Larose.

I have a picture of Marguerite with her daughter from a
first marriage to François-Xavier Blais. The oldest picture
in my collection ca 1875.Clarinthe had 2 brothers and 2
sisters. I have a group picture ca 1900; I can send you a
copy if interested.

Napoleon Sauriol had two sons born in Montreal.Peter was baptised Pierre-Clement at Notre-Dame Church on 20 July 1884; Albert was baptised Jacques-Albert on 21 February 1886. Napoleon Sauriol was born in Montreal, Canada,30 January 1863. He married Virginie Comte in Montreal, 15 August 1883. His parents Pierre Sauriol and Delphine Legault and six of Napoleon's brothers and sisters emigrated to New Hampshire around 1890. Napoleon with wife and kids went to Rochester, New York and then to Chicago.

My Grandfather was born in Quebec, Canada in mid-1800's. He was married to a Virginia(DeComf ?). He was Napoleon Sauriol, and change it to Sourile when he came to the United Stated. I am looking to find relatives that can help me go back on the family tree. To my knowledge all Sourile's are related to my Grandfather.
