Surnames: Sauter/Buech/Degeler
Hi there,
I'm looking for descendants of Alida Jean Buech who's last name was Sauter when she died in 1999. I'm researching a great aunt who was somehow related (step-sister?) to Alida Sauter's father -- William Buech. William Buech was born in 1888 in Wisconsin and married Eleanor Grady. Alida Jean Buech was born 1923 in Wisconsin. SS death index states she died in 1999 in Wisconsin, but Wisconsin has no record. As far as I know, Alida Jean was an only child.
I think she probably died in NY, but they won't give me that recent of a record. William Buech was living with her in Long Island, NY when he died in 1980.
If it's any help at all the great-aunt I'm looking for info on was a woman by the name of Alida Degeler.
Any info/help would be greatly appreciated!
