Looking for further information on Joseph Savoie born 10 April 1873 to Joseph Savoie and Mathilde Pelisson of St. Damien Parish in Bedford. (This Bedford is outside Montreal, I think.) I think this may be my ggrandfather, but am not sure. He ended up in Richmond Virginia and his parents were Joseph and Mathilda, but every census he changed his birth information. His mother Matilda apparently had 12 children, all but 2 of who died young.

Would appreciate any help.
