I'm Claudine Savoie daughter of Edouard Savoie who died in Petit-Rocher, N-B. in 1966. I now live in St-Antoine Québec. Jonh Savoy, my uncle from Madisson Heights, Mi. had two other brothers Micheal and Martin. They were born from Clément Savoie and Philomène Lanteigne. They also had a sister, Valérie Savoie who maried a "Comeau" from Pointe-Verte N.-B. They were all born in Pointe à Canot on Île Lamèque. They were not born in Petit-Rocher. John was born on July 20th 1894. Clément Savoie moved his family to Petit-Rocher, N.-B. where he bought a farm that he signed to my father Edouard, the oldest. The threee brothers, John, Michael and Martin migrated to Mi. where they found work at Ford. The three of them maried to canadian girls and established in Madisson Heights (Royal Oak).
At their arrival to the States, they changed their name from Savoie to Savoy.
