I am still searching for Lionel Percy Robson Sayer I believe he might have fled the country as i cannot find him in the death records for England
This is what I know about him:
Born in 1893 Wales ( I have the birth certificate)
Joined the army... Suffolk regiment
Married in Ireland in the 1920's to Margaret Gibson moved to Scotland had two children
Then deserted the army and his wife /children
Think he might have become a seaman as I found a Leonard Sawyer his birth place and year is the same
In 1930 he married again in Scotland ( there was no divorce from the first wife at this time )
Believe his second wife Nancy Gibb might have found out about the first marriage or he left her also as she died in 1945 married to someone else
From 1933 we have not idea where he disappeared to
Would some one be able to see if he appears on any passenger lists in or out of England
Really appreciated all the help I have had to get this far any further assistance appreciated
