married Delores
They had three boys - Stephen, Phillip and Paul
He worked for General Electric in Louisville, KY
He died December 25, 1979 - of a brain tumor
Their address is 4914 Granada Drive, Louisville, KY 40272

I would be delighted to get information on Clark, we were buddies in Korea. ..Thank you very much for getting in touch with me. I did hear awhile back that Clark had passed away..but never knew what he did in his life after returning from Korea. I would appreciate whatever information you could give me. I am in contact with others from the 507th Sig Co that knew Clark. I served with him in Kunsan, Korea in 1951. I have some pictures of him that I would be glad to send to you including when he was returning to the states, he was going home and me and another buddy were going on R&R in Japan...Thanks again..Dennis................

My name is Rebecca Robinson and my mother is Carolyn Scadden Robinson. Her grandfather was Clark Scadden Sr and her uncle's name was Clark Scadden Jr. He was originally from West Virginia and then moved to Kentucky with his family. Clark Jr passed away 12/25/82 (I think) I will double check with my mother tonight. I will gladly get you all the information that I can for you. His wife and children are still alive and we are in contact with them.

There may be a problem with some of this. Certainly Henry Scadden and Elizabeth Bennetta had a son Henry (bapt 1 Dec 1782 in Gwinear). But I don't think this Henry married Elizabeth Mitchell. There is an almost exact contemporary Henry, baptised 8 Apr 1781, son of John Scadden and Ann Rodda, who fits better. I know some researchers have this the other way round! Hello, I am trying to find ancestors of my grandmother, Annie Louise Scadden, born c1873 in Yorkshire, it is believed the whole family moved to Yorkshire from Cornwall prior to her birth, to work in the ironstone mines in the area. Up to now I have not been able to find her birth or any other details.

One possibility is she may be a daughter of Nicholas Moon Scadden b c1845, d 13/3/1883 due to an accident in Liverton Ironstone mine, he is believed to be a son of William Scadden and Jane Moon who married 1837, although these are only guesses.

South Australian BDM records show Annie Maria b 1879 died as an infant, a second dau Annie Maria b 1882 and Wm Harold b 1885 [ d 1888].
Do you have any other info re Wm Scadden and Mary Ann Hague??

Their son Henry b 1763 m Elizabeth Benetta, Jun 1781. They in turn had a son Henry [Henry Robert or Robert Henry??] b Dec 1782 who m Elizabeth Mitchell, Jun 1806, Gwinear.
Firstly can anyone verify this for me?? Secondly can anyone verify if Henry and Eliz Mitchell had a son William [ b 1817 ??] who m Jane Moon, Apr 1837, Crowan, Cornwall.

I have been trying to piece togeter the family history of Wm. Henry Scadden [b.Cambourne in 1844.] I have discovered that he died in S. Australia in 1920... and in Houghton Cemetery his Memorial says that he was the husband of Anne, Sarah and Elizabeth. There are births recorded in Australia of a Wm Henry Scadden [WHS] and wife Mary Anne Hague, and also WHS and Sarah Anne Haywood and WHS and Elizabeth Hayward [Sarah and Elizabeth were sisters]. He seems to have had many children by his three wives.... but sadly a lot of them died in early childhood . [I was interested to see that one or two of the children were born in New Guinea] .
Do you know the names of Wm Henry's grandparents ?

Please check your file i think you will find parents of Henry/Jane Clemence are Henry and Elizabeth Benetta.I did some reseach a few years ago on convict Richard, i believe Cara had info on richard asking permission for his wife and children to join him in aus. Renee, my family came originally from Cornwall to Australia, 2 as convicts and others as immigrants in the mid 1800's. I do have some names from Portsmouth. Perhaps I can be of help. I have been able to trace back to the 1500's with help from relatives I have found on the net and is so much quicker than writing away for information.

I am trying to piece together the early history of the Scadden family centered around PA,Ohio and WV/VA during the mid 1800's. I have extensive data (19000+) records and a lot of uncorrelated data.

I have a pretty solid line from John and Mary Scadden out of PA to the line in West Virginia and out west. I believe that the Scadden families in New York, New Jersey and Maryland could all be related. Census records are to much of a nightmare before 1850 :(

I have been contributing to the Rootsweb Scadden Mailing List which is open for comments/contributions concerning any of the Scadd* Families wherever located....but I must admit that in recent years there has been a bias towards the Devon /Dorset Branch [mainly because I know more about this part of the family !] But I hope this is helpful. Daisy Scaddin - Hughes was born on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. She married Fred Parker from Staffordshire?

Daisy's mother was Scaddin surname, and we think that Daisy kept the Scaddin as part of her name. Her brothers were called Tom, William and Alf, and her sister was Agnes.

They were probably born around 1890 ish. The main link is the Isle of Sheppey / Kent

Hello again Cara..I was originally trying to trace my mothers ancestors to find out if the Livingston / Livingstone and Tulloch name found on both sides of my ancestors are related , I found the link for Tulloch but now I'm trying a different tack by going into my grandmothers history she was a Alma NASH decendent from SCADDEN /PENHALE and she married a Geroge TULLOCH his mother was a LIVINGSTONE and father a TULLOCH I was hoping someone out there just might be doing a family history and could help me out on those names .Mind you it's great getting information of any kind it helps to fill out the knowledge of family , perhaps you could let the other interested person know about my search.Looking forward to hearing again from you.
