Hello to all. I am trying to find more info on a Captain John Scaife. His ship was the H.M.S. Chesterfield (1700's) out of England. There was also a Lt. Master John Scaife who served under Lord De La Ware(Thomas West) in the 1600's.I am trying to locate our orgin. The name has changed through the years , to todays name of Scalf..Any info would be great....Carol
