William Scaife, youngest son on william Scaife of Dacre Hall, Netherton.
William Scaife (son of William - gent.)
married
Isabella Lees (dtr. of Joseph Lees, Gent.) in ? Lancaster,1839.
no known issue.
He died 1843/4 (Ulverstone).
She continued busines as a tailoress.
She later remarried in 1845:
George Henry Redpath YOUNG, a Berwickshire Sculptor/stonemason in Ulverston, redient near her shop.
Issue:
amongst other....
TARGET:::::: William J. LEES born c.1844/5 Ulverstone.
survived as Joseph YOUNG.
Need to ascertain parentage.
This has been bugging me for over 2 decades!!!!
