William & Abigail SCAIFE, siblings, ?Cumberland?
Interested in making contact with anyone researching the family of SCAIFEs with siblings William and Abigail.
The will I'm reading, that of their uncle, Richard GRAHAM victualler of Clerkenwell in 1804 implies that they were under 21 then, and his brother Grimston's 1808 will indicates that their mother was Richard and Grimston GRAHAM's sister Jane.
Probably resident in Cumberland, but the IGI, usually good for the Parish of Arthuret, seems not to have them although there is a patron submission for an Abigail 1793 who appears to have married a William WRIGHT in 1814.
Another GRAHAM niece, Fanny, married a William SCAIFE just to confuse the picture for me.
Regards
Lorna
