Looking for any information on Scanlon's (Scanlan/Scanlin)who are buried in Old St Ambrose Catholic cemetery in Des Moines Iowa. I don't have dates, but I do have information that states there is a lot assigned to a SCANLON family, marked by a stone bearing the names of JOHN, JAMES, and THOMAS SCANLON, the stone may have dates but that wasn't passed on to me. Also buried in that lot is a John Doud b.1826 (Ireland) d. 1871 in Dallas County Iowa, and his wife MARY SCANLON Doud b. 1824 Ireland d. 1897 Des Moines. I am trying to find the relationship between Mary and the Scanlon's buried there. Any information on any Scanlon's in Des Moines or even Dallas County Iowa, especially the James John or Thomas SCANLON families would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kay
