I have recently been given some old family papers, amoung them a copy of a notarized letter by Joab Lane Scarborough dated 11-28-15. Joab claims to be a direct descendent of James Allen Scarborough, king of Wales. Joab was the son of John Rasbery Scarborough, son of Major James Scarborough, son of James Allen Scarborough who was King of Wales. Supposedly James, King of Wales was killed by King George the Fourth when he conquered England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. I have not been able to find anything on a James Allen Scarborough, king or not. When James, King of Wales was killed, his two sons James and Williams fled to England then to America. Does anyone have anything to substantiate this? My grandmother was a Veitch and her mother was a Scarborough
