Hello , I have been trying to find info on my great grandfather and his family. I thought their name was spelled Scarborough but in an 1881 census the name is given as Scarbrow, so a little confusion. Anyhow I am looking for info on Charles H. Scarbrow b 1875 in Surrey England, his parents were Maria and Henry Scarbrow. Charles went to Halifax Nova Scotia and married Sarah Elizabeth Smith c 1894, their only child was Gertrude Isabelle b Mar 6 1895; Charles was killed in the Boer War and his wife remarried William Boutilier. Charles had eight siblings: Frederick b 1864; John b 1865; Ann b 1867; William b 1869; Eliza b 1873; Elizabeth b 1878; Maria b 1879; and Thomas b 1880-81.
