Funnily enough, my bunch also moved to London, well, South London/North Surrey, in about 1900. My grandmothers/ Stopher side were butchers there. with Scarletts owning the shop next door.
There seems to be a large group of Scarletts in North Oxfordshire, where I live, as well. We got about a bit!
