I can trace my family to William Fisher and Mary Scarlett who registered the birth of their son William Fisher Scarlett in Norwich in 1766 (Parish Norwich St Andrew). This William Scarlett married Mary Cubitt; they had several children including Samuel Scarlett (b 1797, Norwich St Giles), my several times grandfather; he was at some point a warder at Norwich prison. I have not been able to place Mary Scarlett (born I presume about 1730-1750)in other Scarlett trees posted on line, and know nothing about William Fisher's origins. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who could add to my knowledge.
